We are looking for a proactive and experienced E3D Administrator to manage and maintain the AVEVA E3D environment, user access, project setup, customization, troubleshooting, and coordination with the engineering and design teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of E3D software, databases, and interfaces for multi-disciplinary project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain AVEVA E3D project databases and environments (site, project, catalogue/specs).
  • Create and manage E3D projects, users, teams, and access rights.
  • Customize and configure E3D environment as per project/client standards.
  • Manage catalogues, specifications, symbol creation and updates.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to design teams (Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation).
  • Coordinate AVEVA Global/Workshare setup for distributed project teams.
  • Monitor software performance and manage upgrades or patch installations.
  • Interface with IT for server/data backup and system support.
  • Maintain documentation for project setups, procedures, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with the software vendor (AVEVA) for technical support, licensing, or issue resolution.
  • Train and guide end users for efficient E3D usage and compliance with standards.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation preferred)
  • Experience:: 3–7 years
  • Software Skills: AVEVA E3D, AVEVA Global, AVEVA Administration, MS Office

Key Skills:

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on experience in E3D administration and project configuration.
  • Familiarity with AVEVA Global (multi-site collaboration setup and maintenance).
  • Good understanding of piping/equipment layout and design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to other AVEVA suite tools like PDMS, Diagrams, Instrumentation, Engineering.
  • Basic scripting or programming skills for automation/customization.
  • Knowledge of ISO/DWG generation processes using E3D.
