We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Process Engineer to take charge of process design and engineering activities for our projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of process engineers, manage client interactions, and drive technical excellence throughout all project phases — from proposal development to project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead process engineering activities for assigned projects.
  • Conduct and manage client meetings, including project kick-off, review, and close-out sessions.
  • Assign responsibilities, guide team members, and monitor performance.
  • Serve as the primary interface with clients to ensure satisfaction and technical alignment.
  • Support business development, proposal preparation, and recruitment initiatives.
  • Coordinate inter- and intra-discipline project activities.
  • Participate in internal project reviews and acquisition discussions.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualification:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical / Petrochemical Engineering from a recognized university (First Class).
  • Experience: 10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, or Chemical industries.
    5+ years of international exposure preferred.
  • Skills: Pre-commissioning / commissioning experience desirable.

Key Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Hands-on experience with process simulation software (PRO/II, Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
  • Expertise in heat exchanger design/rating tools (HTRI, HTFS).
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Personal Attributes :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good networking and client engagement capabilities.
  • Persuasive communicator with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
